Denman Road water supply interrupted Saturday for emergency main works

Newy 87.8 FM – Muswellbrook Shire Council has advised that emergency works will be carried out on the water main along Denman Road, Muswellbrook, on Saturday, 3 October 2026.
As a result of the works, residents may experience an interruption to their water supply between 1:00pm and 11:00pm on Saturday.
During this period, affected properties may experience a total loss of water supply or low water pressure. Council says it will work to keep the interruption period to a minimum wherever possible.
The emergency works are required to improve the reliability of the water supply and help minimise future disruptions.
Council has apologised for the inconvenience, particularly given the recent interruptions experienced by residents, and says it appreciates the community's patience while the works are completed.
Residents are encouraged to store water for essential use during the interruption period.
