Newy 87.8 FM – Netball NSW will hold a Development Coach Workshop at Port Stephens Netball Association in Raymond Terrace on Saturday 5 December 2026.
The face-to-face workshop will run from 8:30am to 1:30pm at 2 William Bailey Street (cross road Port Stephens Street), Raymond Terrace, with a cost of $75.00.
The blended learning Development Coach Accreditation Course, delivered online and face-to-face, is targeted primarily at club, association and regional coaches and teachers aiming to further their netball knowledge.
The course is the second step in the national coaching accreditation framework and provides an introduction to skill progression and fault detection and correction.
Before attending the 4.5 hour face-to-face workshop, participants must complete the online Development Coach Online Course and the online Rules of Netball Exam, which requires a 70 per cent pass. Coaches must also be a financial member before proceeding to the workshop.
To enrol, participants can log into their Netball Learning Account, search for the Development Coach Accreditation, enrol in the Development Coach Practical Workshop and select the applicable session.
Registrations close at 5pm on Monday 30 November, or earlier if 12 people have registered.
