Newy 87.8 FM – A grass fire is burning at Fullerton Street, Stockton, with authorities issuing an Advice-level alert for the area.
The NSW Rural Fire Service listed the incident on its major incidents feed, with the fire's status recorded as not yet controlled.
Fire and Rescue NSW is the responsible agency for the incident, which falls within the Newcastle council area.
The fire's size was listed at zero hectares in the latest update, issued at 7:27pm on Tuesday 16 September.
An Advice alert is the lowest level of bush and grass fire warning, indicating a fire has started but there is no immediate danger.
