Newy 87.8 FM – A bushfire burning at Kearsley South Trail in the Cessnock area has been brought under control, according to the NSW Rural Fire Service.
The fire, located in the Cessnock local government area, has burnt approximately 3 hectares.
The NSW Rural Fire Service has listed the incident at the Advice alert level, the lowest of the three bushfire alert levels used in New South Wales.
An Advice alert means a fire has started and there is no immediate danger, with residents advised to stay up to date in case the situation changes.
