Newy 87.8 FM – The Newcastle Knights women have gone down to the Broncos 16-40 at Totally Workwear Stadium, Brisbane, in Finals Week 1 of the NRLW Premiership.
The 24-point defeat came away on Saturday.
The result leaves Newcastle sixth on the NRLW Premiership ladder with 10 points from 11 games — five wins and six losses.
The Knights have scored 284 points and conceded 192 across the season, a differential of plus 92. Their home record for the season stands at 2-3 and their away record at 3-3.
Newcastle have two wins and three losses from their past five.
They next face the Broncos.
