Newy 87.8 FM – The nib Newcastle Knights have re-signed winger Dom Young until at least the end of 2030, the club announced on Thursday on the eve of the finals.
The three-year extension keeps the 25-year-old at the club as it prepares for its finals campaign.
Young made his NRL and Knights debut against the Dolphins in Round 3, 2021, within 12 months of making his Super League debut for Huddersfield at 17.
He has scored 93 tries in 117 appearances and has represented England eight times since making his international debut in September 2022.
Knights Head of Recruitment Peter O'Sullivan welcomed the deal. "We are delighted Dom has extended for three more years at his home here at the Knights," he said.
NRL Head Coach Justin Holbrook described the re-signing as another great boost for the club. "We are excited Dom has chosen to continue his career at the Knights," he said.
The announcement was confirmed on the Newcastle Knights' official website on Thursday 3 September.
