Newy 87.8 FM – Debutant colt A Little Bit Dusty headlines John Schell's selections for Tuesday's races at Muswellbrook, with the track rated a Good 4 and the rail in the true position.
Racing NSW forecasts little to no rain and a partly cloudy 20 degrees for raceday.
A Little Bit Dusty, a $1.65 favourite on TAB, is a Shamus Award colt from a top stable who won a barrier trial at Muswellbrook with ease last month. Fellow debutant Debriefing ($4.60) won a trial at the track on the same day.
African Diamond ($4) is Schell's pick in another race, resuming from a spell with a win and three placings from seven starts, including a maiden victory at Muswellbrook last November. Favourite Vltava ($3.40) was a maiden winner at Newcastle in April before a second at Wyong and seventh at Scone.
Other selections include Burning Love ($5), a filly by The Autumn Sun on debut, Gemtiki ($2.70 favourite), who broke her maiden at the track and distance four starts ago, and Amajicstar ($2.50 favourite), an impressive winner on debut at Newcastle.
Force March ($2.25 favourite) is tipped after resuming with a second on the Beaumont Track at Newcastle, while No Statement ($12) is selected in the final leg after a last start third at Gosford, beaten less than a length.
