Newy 87.8 FM – A man has been charged following a fatal two-vehicle crash at Cardiff on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Main Road, Cardiff, about 3.40pm on Thursday 21 August 2026 following reports of a collision between a sedan and an SUV.
The driver of the sedan, a 34-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old man, was taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory testing.
He was later charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.
He was refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court on Friday 22 August 2026.
