Muswellbrook dual occupancy development application on public exhibition until 11 September

Newy 87.8 FM – Muswellbrook Shire Council has placed a development application for a detached dual occupancy, Torrens title subdivision and retaining wall on public exhibition.

The application, DA 2026-99, will be on exhibition between 28 August 2026 and 11 September 2026.

Anyone wishing to make a submission on the proposed development can do so in writing through the NSW Planning Portal or by emailing council@muswellbrook.nsw.gov.au.

Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Muswellbrook Shire Council, and lodged before close of business on the final day of exhibition.

Council says any submissions made by way of objection should be supported by the grounds for that objection.

Residents who want to be contacted by Council about the progression of the matter are asked to include their contact information in their submission, including a preferred contact email address.

Council advises that all submissions, including personal information, will be made available for public inspection and may be included in full in reports to Council, government agencies or other relevant bodies in the determination of the application.

All reports are published in the Council Business Paper, which is available to the public.
