Muswellbrook-trained Ellofadude firm favourite for final race at Taree Tuesday

Newy 87.8 FM – Muswellbrook trainer Ben Blay is confident about Ellofadude's chances in the last of seven races at Taree on Tuesday, with the gelding a $2.10 favourite on TAB.
Ellofadude will race second-up from a spell with leading jockey Aaron Bullock aboard in the Get Your Taree Cup Tickets Class 3 Benchmark 66 Handicap over 1263 metres.
"He's the sort of horse that responds well to that hard ride Aaron can give, so when we can get him on we will because we think they gel very well," Blay said.
"He's up in fitness and down in grade and it looks a good race for him."
Bullock has had one ride on Ellofadude for a win, in a Country Benchmark 58 event over 1250 metres at Gunnedah on May 24.
The four-year-old gelding has raced seven times for two wins, a second, a third, two fourths and a fifth. He finished runner-up first-up from a spell at Gosford on August 28.
Bullock has five rides at Taree, including Tasman Deel ($1.60 favourite) in race one for the Scone-based training combination of Paul Messara and Leah Gavranich. His latest win was on Party Rebel for that stable at Newcastle on Saturday.
The first race is at 1.35pm, with gates open from midday. Admission is $10, concession $5.
