Newy 87.8 FM – Residents in the King Street area of Muswellbrook are without water while emergency repairs are carried out on a broken water main.
Muswellbrook Shire Council says the break occurred in the Common, between Queen Street and Coal Road.
Council crews are experiencing difficulties isolating the affected water main. As a result, residents in the King Street area will experience a temporary loss of water supply while repairs are undertaken.
Crews are working to resolve the issue and restore water supply as soon as possible, the council said.
The estimated restoration time is currently unknown, with further updates to be provided as information becomes available.
Council has apologised for the inconvenience and thanked affected residents for their patience and understanding.
