Newy 87.8 FM – A planned hazard reduction burn is under way in Uffington State Forest near Clarence Town, according to the NSW Rural Fire Service major incidents feed.
The burn is located at Woerdens Road, Clarence Town, in the Dungog council area.
The NSW Rural Fire Service lists the incident at the Planned Burn alert level, with a status of under control.
The fire covers a size of 245 hectares, and the incident type is listed as hazard reduction.
Forestry Corporation of NSW is the responsible agency for the burn.
