Newy 87.8 FM – NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 60-year-old man missing near Newcastle.
Anthony Chapman was last seen on Jerrawa Close, Lambton, about 12.30pm on Sunday 23 August 2026.
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for Anthony's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, with a solid build, and is bald.
Anthony is known to frequent the Jesmond and Lambton area.
NSW Police say an image of the missing man is available on the force's social media pages.
Anyone with information about Anthony's whereabouts is urged to contact Waratah Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be provided at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au and is managed on a confidential basis.
