Newy 87.8 FM – NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 43-year-old man missing from the Hunter region.
Cameron Ottaway was last seen on Murray Dwyer Circuit, Mayfield West, around 13 or 14 August 2026.
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were notified on Tuesday 18 August 2026 and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for Cameron's welfare as his behaviour is out of character.
He is described as of Caucasian appearance, 175cm to 180cm tall, of medium build with short grey hair, and is unshaven.
Cameron was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, a black jacket, dark pants and grey joggers. He may be driving a silver Nissan utility with NSW registration AD49XR.
He is known to frequent the Bellingen and Dorrigo areas.
Anyone with information about Cameron's whereabouts is urged to contact Waratah Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be provided at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au and is managed on a confidential basis.
