Newy 87.8 FM – Two Newcastle CBD commercial buildings, 307 King Street and 192 Hunter Street, have been listed for sale through Colliers Newcastle, with Expressions of Interest closing at 4:00pm on 15 October 2026.

307 King Street, Newcastle West is a seven-storey commercial building on the corner of King and Union Streets, on a 1,647.8 sqm site with 7,576 sqm of gross lettable area and a 3.5-star NABERS Energy rating. Agents are Peter Macadam and Luke Rutledge.

192 Hunter Street, Newcastle is a three-storey corner commercial freehold in the East End, with 783 sqm of floor area on 342 sqm of land and MU1 Mixed Use zoning. The listing notes holding income on the ground floor, with vacant possession on levels one and two. Agents are Luke Rutledge and Michael Chapman.

The listings come as NGM Group, parent of Newcastle Permanent and Greater Bank, prepares to move to a new 9,000 sqm head office in Newcastle West as part of the proposed 711 Hunter Street redevelopment, subject to statutory approval. The 14-level office, designed by Stewart Architects, is forecast for completion in 2028.

NGM Group said in October 2025 it would explore options for exiting its current corporate sites as the move nears. Join the discussion on Facebook.
