Newy 87.8 FM – Construction has begun on the 258-lot Tenison Heights housing estate at Lochinvar, in the Maitland local government area, with a sod-turning ceremony held.
The estate, developed by CPG Estates, is located at the corner of Wyndella Road and the New England Highway. The sod-turning marked the start of civil works and bulk earthworks on the site.
Maitland City Council approved the subdivision under development application DA/2023/415, which covers 258 lots delivered over 14 stages, along with two public reserves, a drainage reserve, road widening and associated infrastructure. An earlier version of the plan was exhibited as a 262-lot subdivision, with the lot count reduced during assessment.
The project also includes water infrastructure to service hundreds of new homes, and the start of construction has been welcomed by Maitland's mayor.
CPG Estates is a residential communities developer and part of the Campbell Property Group, whose brands include builders Clarendon Homes and Domaine Homes.
Tenison Heights is currently selling, with display homes open on Tillage Drive and Springfield Drive. The developer describes the project as a strategically planned development that prioritises community and connectivity.
