Newy 87.8 FM – Wybong Road will be temporarily closed between Logues Lane and Overton Road while works are undertaken to upgrade the existing culvert, Muswellbrook Shire Council has advised.
The closure is expected to be in place for approximately three months, from October to December 2026, weather permitting.
Diversions will be in place via Bengalla Link Road and Denman Road for the duration of the closure.
Motorists are asked to allow additional travel time, drive with caution and follow all traffic control measures and signage.
The works are being undertaken by MACH Energy Australia as part of works associated with the Mount Pleasant Operation.
