Newy 87.8 FM – Trinity Catholic College, Adamstown, has celebrated its inaugural Year 12 graduating cohort, marking the final milestone in the school's transition to a complete Years 7-12 secondary college.

The milestone caps off a vision first shared in 2024, when St Pius X High School became Trinity Catholic College.

The graduating class of 32 students has been credited with helping establish the traditions, culture and spirit that will guide future generations at the college.

Students were joined at the celebration by Bishop Michael Kennedy, Father Greg and Father Joseph, along with members of the Catholic Schools and Diocesan Offices, families and friends.

Guest speaker Mark Wells, a former St Pius X High School student and Australian musician and songwriter, shared his story of perseverance, including picking up the guitar at eight years old and overcoming cystic fibrosis.

"Don't place limits on yourself and don't accept the limits that others place on you," Mr Wells told the graduates. "Dream you must, however big or however small. You'll get to where you're going."

Assistant Principal Stephen Dunn reflected on watching the students grow from their first days in Year 7 six years ago to becoming the college's first Year 12 graduating class.

"You've left a legacy of hard work, commitment and, above all, a reminder to enjoy each moment," Mr Dunn said.
